The HAGz Tail Hook is a helpful muskrat skinning tool. Hang from a secure object and then insert the hook into the bottom of the tail an inch or two from the fur line. The point of the hook bites into the tail bone as downward pressure is applied, holding the muskrat in place and keeping it from falling while you skin. When skinning is complete, a simple flip of the thumb between the tail and hook will quickly free the muskrat from the hook. Ready for the next one.
