Mike "Red" O'Hearn's "Coon Trapping - The Untold Story" Book contains 92 pages of intensive coon trapping education. This book contains a ton of excellent information.

Leroy Renno's "New Age DP Coon Trapping Methods and More" Book is an extensive, detailed instruction manual outlining the "New Age" system of coon trapping with DP traps. This book also includes a lengthy, in depth look at putting up coon pelts on wooden stretchers. 64 pages.

A skilled writer as well as a proficient trapper, Austin's knowledge of raccoon habits and raccoon trapping will quickly become evident as you read this book. In Austin Passamonte's "High-Volume Coon Trapping" Book he gives you his keen observations, dispels myths, explains how, when and where to catch more coon, and entertains you. This book is arguably the best ever published on trapping coon with bodygrippers, plus it covers water and land sets with footholds. You will catch more coon for having read it. 120 pages.

Delmar Alstat's "Coons with Conibears" Book gives instruction on how to catch raccoons with body grip traps. 20 pages.

A lot of books and methods have been written over the past few years on coon trapping, some good and, to be quite frank, some only fair. Carroll Black's "You Can Make Record Coon Catches" Book is written in depth on the taking of coon in numbers, drowning vs. non-drowning, vehicle and boat trapping. Speed trapping is also covered to no small degree. Lure and bait usage are always of great interest among any group of trappers, as is equipment, pre-season work, thieves, cold weather trapping, etc. which is covered in this 64 page book. Bud Boda's "Novice-To-Pro Coon Trapping" Book is full of solid information on coon trapping with many pictures and diagrams. 73 pages.

Oscar Cronk's "Cronk's Scientific Raccoon Trapping" Book contains very clear, in depth information and illustrations on raccoon trapping. 79 pages.

Gerald Schmitt’s “Mega Lining Mink and Coon Trapping: The Complete Pro System” Book gives you lots of information that you can apply on your own trapline to become a better trapper.
