J.C. Conner T-Bar Shock Springs keep the stake from being pumped out of the ground and decrease the shock to the animal. Die cut 3/16" thick T-Bar with 1/4" hole to allow for easy hook-up. Approximately 75 lb. pull.

J.C. Conner's Wolf T-Bar Shock Springs are inline shock springs made for the power and size of wolf and big eastern coyote. The T-bars have a radius cut at the head for added strength with a rounded nose and special eye for easy J hookup, and the spring is made of the highest quality music spring wire available. Overall length is 5-3/4" and 1" in diameter. Rated at 130 lbs.

Many trappers have asked for a lighter weight and a lighter pull In-line Shock Spring. Sleepy Creek's 56 lb. pull In-Line Shock Spring with tempered cupped slides is now available. The long spring applies a softer light load while the shorter spring takes the lunge of a heavier critter. The mis-shaped slides help prevent rust from locking them. For those who wish an even lighter assembly, remove the short spring for a 40 lb. version. Designed to be setup with double swivels and "J" hooks (not furnished).

Stop Shock Springs help to cushion the impact of an animal pulling and jumping which helps to prevent stake pumping. Can be used as a replacement for Victor Soft Catch spring. This is NOT designed to be used as an in-line shock spring.
