These Pig Tail Supports are made of 9 gauge wire. They can be bent to any position to allow you to hang your snare exactly where you want it. The support end slips into the support collar on your snare to hold the snare loop in place. The other end slips over a rebar stake, and the tail sticks in the ground for stabilization. They can also be spot welded to kill poles. Sold by the dozen.

These snare supports can be pushed into soft ground or driven into hard ground with a trapping hammer and have a flat steel support stake that prevents the support from spinning in the wind. These snare supports are sold by the dozen and are available in standard and heavy duty. The standard snare supports have a total length of 24” and are made with a 3/16” elevation rod. The heavy duty snare supports have a total length of 30” and are made with a 1/4” elevation rod. Both styles are available with 18” of usable 9 gauge or 11 gauge support wire.
