Mark Steck’s “100,000 Miles of Coyote Snaring” DVD
Mark Steck’s “100,000 Miles of Coyote Snaring” DVD was three years in the making because Mark wanted it done right. His goal was to set a standard for snaring coyotes and for you to be the best snare man you can be. Most of this video is filmed on Mark’s working snare line encompassing several hundred snares. Mark has trapped and snared coyotes for almost 40 years. He moved to South Dakota in 1983 because of high canine densities. In this DVD Mark covers:
- Coyote behavior
- Coyote travel ways
- Keying in on the best locations
- Coyote behavior when approaching snares
- Snaring on bare ground verse snow -- the huge difference
- Pushing the envelope on exposed snares
- Snaring on farmland and rangeland
- Lethal sets
- Locks, cable and making them work for your conditions
- Why you should lose some snaring myths right now
