The MPI Outdoors Mountaineer Backpack is "the" all-purpose, all-season, all-reason daypack. The basic time proven style, design and large capacity make this the perfect pack for the experienced hunter who knows what he needs on the trail, or for those that only have to or want to carry just the basics. The Mountaineer has a full front dual zipper "over the top" opening that allows for easy packing and unpacking. It also has a front mount pocket for transporting those items you need to get to at once.

The contour foam padded shoulder straps in concert with the adjustable quick release shoulder strap buckles and the 2-inch extra long "hip belt" allows you to position your load comfortably. All MPI Outdoors Hunting packs are "cross stitched" over the shoulder straps as they affix to the top of the pack for added security, reliability and strength. There are full-length rain flaps that cover all the zippers for protection from the elements and the "motion suspension system" elastic tabs on the waist belt and shoulder straps further enhance the comfort features. As with all our packs there is a "grip handle" sewn into the top of the pack so you can transport the pack when it is off your back, or hang it on a tree or in your closet for storage.

There are 2000 plus cubic inches of storage space within the main compartment and in the front zipper pouch that allows you to carry a lot of needed on the trail gear.
