The WCS Professional Bear Foot Snare is made up of two major parts. The first part is a 12" launcher with special bends in the jaws to hold the snare in place. The pan tension is adjustable to avoid smaller bears. The launcher is powered by two springs about the size of those used on a standard 220 body grip trap. These springs make the launcher very quick and also make the launcher easy to bed. The bends in the jaws that hold the snare in place also make it so the bear can easily remove the launcher off the foot after the snare is locked on.
