Joseph Gary Crance's "An Exceptional Hound" Book is the second novel in the Ryland Creek Saga. This 255 page softcover book was written in 2018. An Exceptional Hound is the story of the hound Seth introduced in The Last Coon Hunter. This installment in the Ryland Creek series fills in the gap between the last two chapters of The Last Coon Hunter and borrows from the Iroquoian legend of the Great Bear. Note to readers of the Ryland Creek Series: There is a real Seth! That said, the character Seth was written before the real Seth was born. Before The Last Coon Hunter went into publication, Joseph's mother asked him to change the character Seth from a walker coon hound to a black cur like the real Seth. So he did. (Always listen to your mother!) Further, he's a ham in front of the camera, so he's become a part of some of the book covers and many of the ads for the series. Joseph Gary Crance is the son of a retired New York State Forest Ranger. He grew up chasing behind coonhounds in the forests of his hometown of Painted Post, spending hundreds of hours in the woods day and night and in every season. After a nearly 30-year career with the Department of Defense, with over 20 years in uniform with the U.S. Air Force, he returned with his family to the timeless hills of Upstate New York. Now, he's pursuing a lifelong dream as a novelist.

Joseph Gary Crance's "The Legends of Ryland Creek" Book is the third novel in the Ryland Creek Saga. This 269 page softcover book was written in 2019. Legends of Ryland Creek is something of a first. While magical realism, and the land itself as a character, began with the preceding books, Legends delves heavily into the myth and lore of Painted Post and the surrounding regions. The creature, the Gandalark, while considerable literal license was levied in the story, was roughly based on the reported sightings (in 1869) of a big foot-like creature (with a really nasty attitude) near Woodhull, New York, which is about 25 miles to the west of Painted Post. Legends is also the most thematic of the series to date as it deals with both the issue of bullies as well as choosing one's path, and the consequences that ensue. Joseph Gary Crance is the son of a retired New York State Forest Ranger. He grew up chasing behind coonhounds in the forests of his hometown of Painted Post, spending hundreds of hours in the woods day and night and in every season. Now, he's pursuing a lifelong dream as a novelist.

Joseph Gary Crance's "The Master of Hounds" Book is the fourth novel in the Ryland Creek Saga. This 293 page softcover book was written in 2020. When Joseph began writing The Master of Hounds, he knew his hands were full. There were mysteries and intentional loose ends, some reaching all the way back to the first novel in the Ryland Creek series, that had to be revealed as this timeline in the series came to a culmination. The older generation mentoring the young has been a constant for the entire Ryland Creek series. Dealing with your past decisions, facing your destiny, and even lessons about life itself hit The Master of Hounds theme at full stride. What also remained was the communion between hunter, hound, and the forests. The land of Painted Post with its legends, ghost stories, history, and reaching near character status is an important element to maintain in The Master of Hounds. The Master of Hounds reunites some favorite characters, one being the return of the eccentric Uncle Arthur McCutcheon, while introducing some new heroes and villains, and one, let's say, rather odd fellow.... The Master of Hounds also gives glimpses into the Ryland Creek Saga's prequel, The Forest Ghost, slated for release soon. Joseph Gary Crance is the son of a retired New York State Forest Ranger. HAGz Beaver Rod Ends are designed to be used with the HAGz Universal Lock for a hassle free trap connection in the field. The value in the design of HAGz Beaver Rod Ends really shines in the field. You can now permanently attach your HAGz Universal Lock to your trap as the lock will slide over the stake end, creating a simpler transport/carry and hookup at the trap site. This method is much preferred over having to leave a lock on the rod with a "quick" attach device which can be slow and prone to failure. This design also allows quick change up between rods, wire, chain, etc. This is much preferred over having to have additional locks set aside for single use cases or needing tools to switch between methods - slow and wasteful. HAGz Beaver Rod Ends feature:Fits 1/2" smooth rodsAccommodates 3/8" T-bar stakesPeen on design - No bolts, screws or pinsHAGz Universal Locks slide over stake end to attach/remove trap from rod
